Verona: The City of Romeo and Juliet
Upon arrival in Verona, you'll be welcomed by your expert local guide, who will lead you on an immersive two-hour walking tour of this beautifully preserved medieval city. Equipped with Whisper System headsets, you'll hear every detail clearly as you wind through cobblestone streets steeped in history. Our first stop is the legendary Casa di Giulietta — Juliet's House — where you'll explore the Teatro Nuovo, the famous courtyard, and see the balcony that inspired one of literature's greatest love stories. From there, enjoy a relaxed ten-minute stroll through the heart of Verona to the magnificent Roman Arena, an astonishingly well-preserved amphitheater dating back nearly 2,000 years, still used today for world-class opera performances. With your guided tour complete, you'll have free time to grab a quick lunch on your own, sampling local Veronese flavors before continuing your journey.
Sirmione: A Jewel on Lake Garda
From Verona, our coach carries us onward to Sirmione, a picturesque town perched on a narrow peninsula jutting into the sparkling waters of Lake Garda. Our guide will lead a two-hour tour through its charming streets, culminating at the Scaligero Castle — one of Italy's best-preserved lakeside fortresses. Surrounded on all sides by the waters of Lake Garda, this medieval stronghold serves as the town's dramatic gateway, its crenelated towers and rare fortified dock unlike anything else in the world. Admission is included, giving us the perfect starting point to explore every corner of this "Pearl of Lake Garda."
Return to Milan
As the day draws to a close, relax aboard our private coach for the comfortable return journey back to Milan, bringing a perfect blend of romance, history, and lakeside beauty to a close.

Alba: Italy's Truffle Capital
Upon arrival in Alba, we'll be welcomed by a local guide who introduces us to the region's celebrated food culture. Winding through the town's lively produce market, we'll get a firsthand look at the Slow Food Movement, born right here in Piedmont, and the local commitment to preserving traditional, regional ingredients.
Standing at a truffle shop, we'll pause for a small tasting of truffle condiments, salami, and other local specialties, paired with a glass of wine. From there, we'll stop outside a charming pastry shop for an introduction to the region's famous hazelnuts, the story behind Nutella, and the nearby Ferrero factory — each of us receiving two pralines and a cookie to sample along the way.
No visit to Alba in autumn would be complete without the International Truffle Fair, and we'll have time to explore this beloved annual celebration of the prized white truffle, browsing stalls brimming with local delicacies — where prices for this rare delicacy can reach several thousand euros per kilogram — before enjoying lunch on our own.
A Taste of Piedmont's Wine Country
Our afternoon continues with a visit to a local winery, where we'll enjoy a guided tasting of the region's renowned wines. Time permitting, we'll also make a short stop in the town of Barolo, home to some of Italy's most celebrated reds and surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards that offer stunning views of the Langhe region, before this fitting finish to a day steeped in Piedmont's culinary traditions.
Return to Milan
With truffles, hazelnuts, and wine all sampled, we'll board our coach for the return journey to Milan, bringing a rich, flavor-filled day to a close.

Lake Como Day Trip: Varenna & Bellagio
Sunday, November 15
Approx. hours
Cost: $ per person
Escape the city and discover the timeless beauty of Lake Como on this full-day excursion from Milan, blending charming lakeside villages and scenic boat rides. Our day begins bright and early as our tour assistant meets us at the hotel in Milan, ready to guide us through the day's itinerary. From there, we settle into a comfortable private coach, sitting back and relaxing as we're driven through the Lombardy countryside toward the shimmering waters of Lake Como.Meet Your Guide
Upon arrival in Como, you'll be welcomed by your local guide, who will lead your group through a rich 6-hour experience showcasing the very best of the lake.
Cruising the Lake
Board our private ferry boat and set off across the water toward Varenna, one of Lake Como's most picturesque villages (please note the ferry boat has no onboard restroom, and some seating is outdoors). With its pastel-colored houses tumbling down toward the shoreline, tiny harbor, and quiet, timeless charm, Varenna feels like a postcard come to life. Alongside our guide, we'll wander through the historic center, winding through narrow cobblestone alleys and hidden staircases tucked between ancient stone buildings. Our walk leads us to the enchanting Passeggiata degli Innamorati — the "Walk of Lovers" — a romantic pathway suspended just above the water's edge, offering breathtaking, uninterrupted views across the lake.
Bellagio & Free Time
From Varenna, our boat carries us to Bellagio, often called the "Pearl of Lake Como." Perched on a promontory where the lake's three branches meet, Bellagio charms visitors with its elegant villas, flower-draped balconies, and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafés. Our guide will lead a short walking tour to take in the highlights before we're set free to explore at our own pace — browse the shops, relax at a lakeside café, or simply soak in the atmosphere of this elegant village. Lunch is on our own, and our guide will happily point us toward great local spots to eat.
Return Journey
After your time in Bellagio, reboard your boat for a scenic cruise back along the lake's inner branch to Como. From there, your private coach will be waiting to whisk you back to Milan, bringing your Lake Como adventure to a relaxing close.
