Day-By-Day Itinerary
DAY 1 | ARRIVE NEW ORLEANS
Today arrive in New Orleans for a four night stay in the exciting French Quarter. Be sure to experience “The Quar- ter” filled with fabulous restaurants and jazz clubs. This evening enjoy a Reveillon Welcome Dinner, a traditional Creole holiday feast. Meal: (D)
DAY 2 |FRENCH QUARTER TOUR - MS RIVER CRUISE
This morning enjoy a French Quarter Walking Tour featur- ing the St. Louis Cathedral with adjoining Cabildo and rec- tory, Bourbon Street, Pirates Alley and the French Market- place. Next visit the famous Café du Monde to enjoy café au lait and beignets. Later board the Steamboat Natchez for a relaxing cruise on the Mississippi River. This evening enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers at the famous New Orleans School of Cooking. Meals: (B,D)
DAY 3 | NEW ORLEANS - OAK ALLEY PLANTATION
Today enjoy a New Orleans City Tour. Travel along historic St. Charles Avenue, drive past Tulane University, visit a unique Above Ground Cemetery & drive through the Gar- den District which features one of the best preserved col- lections of historic southern mansions in the United States. Also see some of the rebuilding as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Later travel outside of New Orleans to visit and tour Oak Alley Plantation, one of the state’s most visited antebellum homes featuring a quarter-mile long canopy of giant live oak trees believed to be 300-years old. This after- noon return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Meal: (B)
DAY 4 | NEW ORLEANS - CELEBRATION IN THE OAKS
Enjoy the day to experience New Orleans and the Quarter at leisure. Experience the cafes, art galleries and shopping. Maybe visit the Mardi Gras Museum, World War II Museum or take a peek at Santa’s Quarter, a popular holiday store. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner at the Court of Two Sisters, one of the French Quarter’s most famous restaurants. Af- ter dinner board a motorcoach for a short ride to the New Orleans City Park to visit the Celebration in the Oaks, one of the most beautiful holiday light exhibits in the country. Meals: (B,D)
