Welcome to Comfort Suites Paradise Island! This hotel is a great value with its complementary breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean and even have a separate seating area. The pool with its swim up bar, has recently been refurbished. The best feature about this hotel is that you receive the wristbands that allow you to use all the amenities at the neighboring property of Atlantis. It is a short walk to enjoy the beaches, pools, and the aquarium. There is also a hospitality room that is available to use if your actual room is not ready for you when you arrive.
Welcome to Atlantis, a beautiful resort located on Paradise Island, which is just a short drive from the Nassau airport in the Bahamas. This amazing property has five separate hotels, each with different price points. However, regardless of the hotel you select, the amenities are the same. There are many pools to enjoy as well as a waterpark. One of the main features that sets Atlantis apart from other resorts is “The Dig”, which is a large aquarium you can tour. Of course, there is the beautiful beach to enjoy as well.
Our WW2017 group to Edinburgh has now arrived back home. Liza and Cheri from Travel Haus escorted this group of 38 ladies as together they had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh as well as the breathtaking country of Scotland. On the day of arrival they did a panoramic bus tour of the city of Edinburgh and ended with touring the Edinburgh Castle in time to experience the daily firing of the cannon at 1pm.
Day 2, 20 of us ventured out on a bus tour through the Highlands including a stop at Loch Ness where we explored Urquat Castle and then enjoyed a boat ride across the lake. Unfortunately we cannot report any sightings of Nessie. 😉 It was a wonderful day!
Day 3, a group of 18 did an excursion to Rosslyn Chapel and the Borders. We stopped at Rosslyn Chapel, Melrose Abbey, Scott's View and Jedburgh Abbey. We again had great weather and the views were magnificent!
On our last day, 24 ladies got a "Behind the Ropes" private tour of Holyrood Palace and then enjoyed The Scotch Whiskey Experience. We had some free time in the afternoon to do some further exploring and souvenir shopping before we headed out to our Spirit of Scotland dinner.
Travel Agent Sense - this will be the first in a series of posts that we will share with our valued readers and clients. One of the things that sets Travel Haus apart from booking on your own and even some other agencies is that we often meet with the tour companies and our agents get trained on the latest updates and news. We have REAL relationships and contacts!
This past week, Jen Palko with Apple Vacations was in our office and here are some of the highlights of her visit with us.
She gave us an update on the various Caribbean islands and where they’re at in recovery from hurricanes. Apple supports several causes that contribute 100% directly to those in need. The Mexico and Punta Cana resorts are still open to guests and some beaches actually got WIDER after the storms. Ie: Beach at Secrets Capri got significantly wider. More beach sounds good to us! :)
