Journey in the Footsteps
of the Apostle Paul
October 2-12, 2010
with Rev. Dayle Malloy of Trinity Lutheran Church

Start in Athens and enjoy a welcome dinner. Travel to Thessalonika which figured prominently in the New Testament and was considered a world cultural center. Then to Kalambaka via Veria and visit the Bema, where Paul stood and preached the Gospel to the local believers in Meteora, visit Varlaam and St. Stephen's Monastaries. Situated atop vast rocks, the 14th-century monastaries compose one of the most breathtaking sites in the world and are a World Heritage Site. Afterwards, board your 3-day Greece and Turkey cruise with visits to the islands of Mykonos, Patmos, Santorini and Crete and the Turkish port of Kusadasi and nearby Ephesus. Disembark in Piraeus and travel to Corinth to visit the excavations and then journey to Athens to enjoy a guided sightseeing tour featuring visits to the Acropolis & Areopagus where Paul delivered his sermon about the identity of "the Unknown God." This journey, including the 3-night Greece and Turkey cruise, is a trip of a lifetime!
